About T. Max Devlin
Brilliant is one word to describe T. Max Devlin's ability to explain highly complex network concepts in easily understandable terms. Max has shared his exceptional technical knowledge and abilities with hundreds of major corporations. His experience with and conceptual understanding of enterprise networking equipment and processes is unmatched. He also has expertise in all types of end-user applications, SNMP-based network management, system administration, operations, workflow, documentation, and training development and delivery.
Fully certified in the OPIRT method, Max knows more about the way information travels on the Internet than most of the population. His entertaining style makes him an excellent instructor for a variety of classes. He has intimate working knowledge of implementation, configuration, and use of just about every enterprise network management package including HP OpenView, Seagate NerveCenter, Bay Networks Optivity, CiscoWorks, NetScout systems, Remedy ARS, Concord Network Health, and Novell ManageWise.
Max started his career in the Navy, troubleshooting and repairing radar, navigation, and communications equipment, where he rose through the ranks to become shift supervisor, and then shop supervisor. He joined Computer Education Services after he got out of the Navy, and stayed with the parent company, Hi-TECH Connections after its acquisition.
